Ok so found it hard to keep weight on him over winter and now summer is on its way and a new yard hes blossomed..

I can easily feel his ribs but someone sort of mentioned he was looking too 'well' and i dont think so at all.. so im looking for opinions as i think he looks perfect weight!!

Looks ideal to me, wouldn't want to see any more weight, but certainly no need to lose any either.
 
not at all, he's quite a big framed type, so will never look as lean as a TB! i think he looks fine as he is!
 
Hi he looks just right, and here is why if any numptys ask. You can see the faint outline of his ribs and I bet you can see them when he takes a big breath (or sigh?), you say you can feel his ribs too. You have the usual cob type problem in that, they are short coupled have well sprung ribs, and look like they are fat when if you actually get up close and cop a feel they are not. Coblets also have lovely big rounded muuscles instead of pointy TB ones, this can also mislead uneducated people. Good luck, he is lovely.
