I'm always being asked what type of terrier my rescue girlie is. I've always thought yorkie mix and it matters not one jot to me one way or the other. But I was struck by her resemblance to a Norfolk terrier I saw online.

Am I just imagining it?

I know - I was quite surprised. I did a Google image search on her after meeting a lady was telling me on my walk today that she looked like a breed but she couldn't remember what it was.

Could well be, she is lovely anyway as I am sure you know! How did she end up in rescue?
Came from a multi dog household. 5 other dogs and they were picking on her so she ended up in rescue. Been working quite hard on her meeting other dogs in a nice manner. Shes come on miles since she first arrived but still quite reactive with big dogs.

Having never met or owned a Norfolk terrier, but having owned lots of yorkies, and my best friend being a border breeder, I’d have said she was a cross between the two.

Having seen your attached pic, I’ve no idea! 🤷‍♀️

She's absolutely lovely. Is she a bit tall/ long legged for a Norfolk? Could maybe check her height against the breed standard as that might give you an idea?
