Lol, as the title says really. Thanks to some advice from here I now have a mega monolithic rug from Premier Equine, so several rugs have been made redundant

am looking on ebay, but theres not much selling, rug-wise. Will h/w rugs sell at this time of year? Or have most people got summer in mind ?
Any ideas..

Personally, I wouldnt be buying HW rugs now. It's getting to the time where they're coming off which often means most horses owners are drowning under skinky, nasty rugs that need washing and packing away.

I occasionally look at the spring sales for heavily discounted winter rugs but really only bother if something is amazingly cheap.

I'd be inclined to if you can and start listing them at say September ish time when people are more likely to be thinking about the colder weather.

I suppose it depends if you have the space to store them though.

You could perhaps stick a notice up at your yard listing the rugs and see if you happen to get any bites there?

Not a good time to sell hw ones at the mo. I have just got rid of a load of mine. 17 to be exact!!!! Don't ask. Some went for no money at all. I sold my 5' 3" masta hw outdoor. Worn 6 times, with matching neck cover worn twice. Both had been professinally cleaned and all I got was £23 for the both. The neck cover alone cost me £37. Maybe sell the lightweight ones now and wait until Sept time for the hw ones. Oh and they are a bugger to post!!!!

Tierra, Im trying to sell to my YO..although is a shame shes not a new newbie owner who I can eek a little more money out of, shes a bargain hunter type..will hope mum doesnt go apoplectic at more things statshed in her house.
17! I thought 3 at once was bad! Seems I should put a lid on rug dealing and wait.
Thank you!
