Is obesity associated with the prevalance of osteoarthritis in horses?

I've done it but my horse had arthritis in the neck and I suspect you are more interested in arthritis in the legs?

Well I would do it but my horse's osteoarthritis arose as the result of an accident and there's no option to select for this; she's been overweight and now has arthritic hocks, but the two aren't actually connected as she was a healthy weight at the time of the accident which caused the destruction of the cartilage in her hind legs, so me filling in your survey for her would show a false correlation.

Also, it would be good if you had weight option for <200kg for miniatures as we have an arthritic shetland who's about 180kg.

I've done it for 1 of mine. She came to me as a hugely obese 4yo and hock arthritis was diagnosed not long after she was backed at 5 (after losing nearly 100kg!)
