Some people refer to my horse as a cob (which is fine

) but others say she is not ??
She is certainly no heavy weight but what do you think?

Vet put " sportshorse" in micro chip papers but i think he was being kind

She looks just like my instructress's dressage horse.

Bella's mum was a cob, dad was a TBx sports horse. I would never call her a cob, but I know people at comps have occasionally.

Standing next to expensive warmbloods I guess Bella does look a bit cob-like, standing next to my coblet she doesn't at all.

Sports horse id say.....id have thought more draft horse in the breeding than a cob to be honest...what height is she?

hello,

i think she is really pretty and looks just like my pony and my pony is a lightweight cob so this is what i would say she is! she is really really REALLY nice!
i hope this helps bale of hay!

Do you have any plaited pics to show the neck? That's when mine looks most cob-like! I think that when she is unplaited and tacked up, she looks like a "normal" horse, but when plaited looks very cob-like!

Some pics as an example!
"normal" maybe looks a little bit like a sports horse?

She gets mini feathers, but I trim them off! I'd say your's looks sports horse-like from those small photos, but would be interesting to see the neck and shoulders when plaited!

I'd say coblet they dont all have to be fat and hairy but shes not quite a lightweight show cob as these are very different again! She also looks to have knee action which would also sway me to coblet.
very pretty lady all the same

I think another thread is needed "What is a COB?"

Ha ha, not at all! (Mr FigJam would definitely never allow it!

), but isn't it amazing the difference her "hair do" can make?

I've been told she was a surprise package out of a coloured cob mare, but due to her being a surprise, no idea what the father was. I think he must have been something more lightweight, TB or something, as she is quite lightweight for a cob and has dinky feet!
