Is she in foal?

Tapeworms and encysted redworm do NOT show on worm counts. She could also have had a "false negative" worm count where she could have had a belly full of juvenile non egg laying worms, she does look poor (she's not thin) but she has no real condition on her and her coat is stark. What did you worm her with and when? I would get vet out to do a pregnancy test and a tapeworm blood test. I would put my money on a worm infestation.

My mare looks like this just now- and I can ensure you that she is not in foal, or riddled with worms.

She always looks like this after a winter of ad-lib hay, and now the grass is poking up... :rolleyes:

The only way to know is to get the vet out to do an exam. Sooner the better OP.
 
She doesn't look in foal. She looks very young and at 18 months 2 years age range they can look a bit out of proportion. I would keep a close eye on her and see how she develops over the summer - amazing what some grass can do to change youngsters.
