Lol. It was only because I would imagine if i asked her prior to purchasing she would say something like oh im too old to learn.... but will show her the thread and won't take no for an answer. She does want to learn, has always been a dream as a child, which is why she introduced me to riding many years ago. I only wish I had encouraged her sooner x

She wants reassurance she isn't. And she def isn't.

my mums same age. Hasn't ridden for about 7/8 years after string of bad falls then car accident.

Took her to Olympics and she spent whole time sighing that she wished she could get back on.

Waiting for half-term then taking her for a potter on a fellow liveries mare.

She doesn't know that yet though.

I'm about the same age and got my first pony not long ago. I did ride as a child/teen but had a loooong gap before getting back in the saddle again.

No she is definitely not too old. 47 is not too old for anything (except clubbing. I'm definitely too old for that!).

Bet she'll have a wonderful time!
