Is something wrong with me?

If i'm in a tricky situation and need to remain outwardly calm I distract myself by saying something in French or if its really bad conjugate a verb or two... something along the lines of Je *buck* suis, Tu *spin* es, il *bronc* est, nous *flybuck**merde*sommes... you get my drift

Me too! I have a little song for when the spooky pony is worrying me and I want him to relax. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work though...but it is catchy!
 
If there's something wrong with you then there is with me.
I sing, not only when i'm happy and feeling confident cos it's going well but also when i feel nervous cos i think he's got other things on his mind and might do something.
The song that instantly comes out when i'm feeling nervous is " Sing, sing a song, make it simple to last your whole life long...la la la" i don't know why but it just does

I don't sing to my horses ( I wouldn't want to scare them) but talk to them constantly - the people on my yard think I'm mental.
My singing is so bad they'd probably call the RSPCA (with some justification) if I did start singing to them!

I have not even mastered being able to use a cell phone on horseback let alone be able ( or stupid enough) to video myself
