Is Speedwell poisonus?

Anyone good at identifying plants? This blue type has sprung up in our paddock. If it is poisonous then I will be busy pulling it up, if not then ah, how pretty!

There are blue flowers, each has 4 petals and a pale centre. The leaves are rough edged and in pairs. It is not off a firm stalk, it is the type of creeping stalk where the root is sideways and turns into stem on top of the ground.

There are loads of them! The other fields are too lush to use, so hoping they are either not poisonous or that I can get them pulled.

Don't think so - humans can eat it and I've certainly never worried about having it in the fields

FAB, thank you. She is not actually eating them, but we have not had these before. I am rather protective!

Both. The leaves are quite tasty and the flowers make it look pretty

Thank you, I binned my sample I used to identify it, but will pick some more tomorrow!

Perhaps pick it from a part of the field where it is unlikely to have been wee'd on
