Is the grass still growing?

most definitely yes! we moved our herd out of the absolutely knackered summer paddock where the heat had scorched a lot of it and after 2 weeks it had returned to a mesmerising green carpet nearly 2 inches long, with grass returning back in the bald gateways. the shire youngster has been allowed back in but we've got 5 comfortably kept on 2.5 acres atm. our spare paddock that we rested most of the yr as it gets horrifically muddy in the winter if the grass is too short is a good half a foot deep in grass!fingers crossed they wont need to stay in this year...swimming in grass!
 
I have two horses on about an acre and a half and they are not hungry and one has had loose droppings last few days so it is growing, I am going to close the smaller field off now too as its so rich what is coming through.
