Hi,
I am going out XC schooling and my hit air jacket attachment which I clip myself into is on my old saddle, which is at a different yard.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows if I can still clip my hit air into a Point 2 attachment on the saddle?
Many thanks! :)

No it isn't - point2 use a mini carabiner type thing and hit air use a plastic 3 pronged clip. Though I cheat with mine anyway - I bought a climbing grade carabiner that I attach the loop to then I can clip it on any saddle with a strap.

Oh that's a great tip ... is yours a Hit Air, or a Point 2? I've just got a Point 2 and I was wondering about the quickest way to attach and detach from different saddles.

I have a Hit Air but is shouldn't matter - you just clip what you would normally clip to the carabiner (Hit Air has a section of the emergency strap that remains permanently on the saddle strap which I found annoying). However if you have a Point2 isn't the clip just a carabiner/spring clip anyway and you can just clip that to any saddle strap?

Ah, misunderstood your OP, sorry, I thought you'd replaced the Point2 mini carabiner with a climbing one for ease of use. My mistake, apologies! I haven't actually taken mine out of its box yet to investigate connectivity possiblities.

sorry, didn't explain it very well!

Have a look at your connector - if it is a spring clip you should be fine - if it is not carabiner away! :)
