Hi :p
Im an oldish newbie rider who had an accident approx 2 years ago. I managed to damage my back among other things. Since then I have had an op/physio. I am on a high dosage of pain killers daily. For the past 6 months I have been using an exercise ball to do gentle bits and bobs on. Recently I have noticed the Ijoy riding machine and my husband has said he would buy me one for christmas if it will help. At the moment I am limited to riding about once a week but I do a lot of groundwork with my boy. I really want to be fitter but without injury. Does anyone know if the Ijoy is any good. Any info welcomed :)

If you have a John Lewis near you they have them in the sports dept so you can try them. I think when I tried one there was a warning on the leaflet about not using if you had back problems without consulting your doctor or physio. They do move your back muscles a lot so I would be careful, they might do more harm than good

I work at an RDA centre and we have 2. I can really recommend them. They get your muscles working :) It made such a difference to my sitting trot as my stomach muscles really developed :D

Some people prefer using them with a saddle on top, although this isn't recommended by the company.

:)
