Is the snow melting anywhere yet??

I've had to make 3 trips from house to farm with water for the horses this morning and will be on for a repeat performance at lunchtime, teatime and late check this evening.

Surely the white stuff has to melt soon?

Ours appears to be frozen solid now - am going out soon to lay an attractive layer of muck heap straw from the door to the field so that I can get them out without sliding around!

It did kind of half-melt...then snowed again last night and froze over. Bummer. Was hoping spring would be here soon...havnt ridden for a week....

We haven't had any to speak of but 20 of the 25 water drinkers have frozen pipes! Fortunately my 2 are ok, so no water lugging for me!

Don't think our snow is going anywhere anytime soon

Although the roads are starting to clear we are forecast more tonight.

I'm meant to be playing skittles tonight in one of the villages - wonder if we will make it

Had blizzard conditions most of Saturday, just to top the snow up (on top of the compacted ice). Then started blizzarding again yesterday about 5pm and didn't stop til this morning. More forecast as well!

It started raining yesterday in my little corner of North Somerset. Still at it and most of the snow has gone.

They are threatening more tonight though.

It's melted here apart from a few isolated patches. We've got pouring rain now and added to the thawed snow we are heading for flood warnings, I should think

It's still here in North Ox but its raining rather lightly so i doubt it will make much difference
