between a parson russell and a jack russel? lol sorry if this is a stupid question but i thought there must be a diference for different names n wondered what it is...

I'm a big dog owner however I always thought the difference was that the Parsons were the ones with the long legs and the JRTs had the short legs.

Parson Jack Russells are the KC recognised breed, and yes they are longer legged, and imo more like a fox terrier. I personally prefer the shorter legged version
