is there a lack of people wanting full livery?

My horses are also my responsibility- that hasn't changed because they are on full livery! But I have a certain duty to my husband and kids too!! I did DIY for a good many years, taking my babies up with me when necessary, and it was hard. I go up to see my horses almost every day and am fully involved in their care - but being on full means I can devote my (limited) time up there totally to them, not mucking out, filling hay nets, poo picking fields etc. It also means that during school holidays I can take my kids out for the day without worrying about being home to bring neddies in at the usual time. I thoroughly enjoyed doing DIY and would do it again, no problem. But don't knock full liveries - we all have to do what's right for our circumstances.

I'm on part/full livery but miss the interaction so am going back to assisted diy.......plus part livery costs more than my own rent!

It's the summer, it will pick up more in the winter when a horse isn't just out in a field. I would pay for full livery in the winter, but not in the summer as it is too expensive.
