a 16hh ex race horse who has incorrect conformation in a front leg? The vet said hes fine to do light schooling and hacking, pleasure rides ect. and also windsucks at every oppotunity??

Other then these issues, he is a saint. He hacks alone or in company, and is always well mannered and behaved. never bucks, rears or bolts. lorries, motorbikes. busses ect is fine. bombproof. infact in walk and trot he is very almost lazy! canter and gallop is fun and he loves it, but always has brakes and always sticks to a lovely easy pace unless asked otherwise. goes first or last. would honestly put a confident novice on him with no issues. on the ground he is a gentleman. very easy to do and is your best friend. other then his problems, hes a superb horse with a lovely giving nature, i just dont have the time to do him justice really with sorting out a big move.

thanks in advance.

I would have thought so, as long as you are honest :)

Mine is a wonky donkey and on loan but I love him, if he is safe then definately.

Yes there's a market for him for loan.

I'd recommend equineads, Freeads and adtrader. Those are the ones that I've had the best responses from.

Of course. :-)

I currently share a TB with various health issues and love it!

[ETS: though obviously I prefer when horse is sound and well!]

Have you had him checked for ulcers? I know that is common with ex-racers/windsuckers. If you can do that and then make clear you will still fund any treatment (medication/supplements) whilst horse is on loan that should help.

Also, you don't have to mention it in the advert if you put somethign like 'must live out'. Then you can explain in details on the phone to interested parties.

Another option if he is happy where you keep him would be to get sharer(s) there.

definately, I know someone that would take him on loan thats looking currently but we are probably too far.

thank you! will PM her. we are in bedfordshire. i dont mind him going far away so long as it is the right home.
