Is there a market for broodmares at the moment?

I am also looking for a good foundation broodmare, to breed modern but trainable dressage horses. I am looking for good boned mare (no less than 8.1/2"), Woodlander I am so tempted, especially after my failed attempt to get our mare in foal this spring.

You should go for it! I am always penniless and everything goes on the horses but I am sooo glad that I made myself afford Dornroeschen as a foal; Limoncello as a foal; and of course, with my mother's help, our foundation mare St Pr Savannah.

As a sucker for greys (very un PC in the dressage world), your pascal x World Classic mare sounds right up my street Ted's Mum. sadly I dont want to add any more to my collection right now. I should sell some of mine but cant bear to part with any of them as I am so sentimental about each one.

I am realising how hard it is to value broodmares!

We are looking to sell out TB broodmare but want her to go to a good home as she is a nice person so don't want to sell her in the racing industry.

She has bred a winner and has an outstanding filly this year that will be sold to race.

But what price do I ask for the mare? She is 9yo and by a Derby winner Kahyasi. A really good sort with plenty of bone and would be a super mare to breed any type of horse either up or down in size(she is 16.1hh)

Any ideas on her value???

I needed to reduce numbers, but am totally sentimental about my girls and couldn't have sold them despite their excellent breeding and temps. Have found best of both worlds as one is on loan to a big stud, with immaculate facilities as ET recipients and the other is off there soon too as soon as her strangles/eva tests come back.

Have an initial 4 yr contract, with the option to extend if all happy. Mares are carrying future olympic eventers (hopefully!) and are exceptionally happy and well looked after. I retain ownership, could have them back (once foaled) and am not paying their costs.

I bred a gorgeous filly out of one myself and would loved to have carried on breeding, but I feel strongly that there are too many horses bred for a 'hobby' and too many horses on the market generally, and of poor make-up. It was not the sensible economic thing to do to breed again... but it doesn't mean I can't in the future. in the meantime, horses are living the life of Riley!

looking for a broodmare with a low budget, 15.3 + warmblood with good jumping lines, would be good to have a compeitition record but not essential, 5* home awaiting in shrophsire, please inbox me if you have anything that may be suitable!

I am looking for a retiring show jumper. A lady that has competed at the very top of the sport, internationally in 1.5m classes with success, and who now deserves the quiet life and pampering.

A mare that will be retired to the fields with my broodmares and in return provide us a couple of foals or embryos that would be sired by the very best stallions available to enhance her type and breeding.

Hi, please look at this mare, she jumped international 1.40 but got an injury.

Asking price is 2500 euro. FEI passport.
