I've heard about these mechanical horses that you can have lessons on, and I think they sound fab and must be very beneficial to your position/use of aids.

Does anyone know if there is one in Yorkshire that you can have lessons on?
And also how expensive it might be?

I think theres one in Doncaster and one in sheff (depending on where in yorkshire you are) But can't remember which stables they are at, just found them while having a look for stuff, sorry.

There is one at Tack & Turnout in Huddersfield. It was £20 per 1/2hour lesson but the RI who owned it has sold it to a sports therapist. I haven't actually seen any-one riding it since then and don't have the therapists number. I do know that the therapist rides herself. I had several lessons on it before and am considering having another session on it as soon as I finish my physio sessions, maybe that will be useful with a sports therapist.

I went on the one at Manor Grange as part of a 1 day training special event. It was part of day when I took my horse, had a lesson with Claire Senior, did jumping with Josie then the mechanical horse bit was with Janet. Its really really good and fun to do.
