Is there a real diff. between fuel pellets and bedding pellets?

I'm just wondering because my local agri centre stocks both (from the same company). They look identical, the only difference seeminly the size of the bag (14kg for horse and 15kg for fuel) and the price (5.49€ for horse and 4.50€ for fuel)

Unfortunately they only had 4 bags of the horse bedding in, and I'm going to need at least 15, so was just wondering if I could use the fuel pellets?

This is a bit of a new venture for me, so don't want to muck it up before I start lol!

are they the ones you damp before using? I would guess they are the same. the horse ones will attract VAT but the fuel ones will be lower or zero rated so are cheaper. I'd say go for it!

They are the same apart from the price. As mentioned above the fuel ones are vat free.
