Is there a way to change your username or delete your posts on here?

TFC is one of the forum moderators and has the power to change your name/delete posts.

Go to the general forum list and scroll down to the very bottom and you will find out how to contact him via PM (Personal Message)
 
Quickest way is to edit your post removing all the wording putting something or at least a full stop in it's place then click save

Get rid of the post now and worry about the user name after!
 
You go back to the post and click the edit button that appears in the bottom right hand side. If you have left it too long you won't be able to do it. You could also click the warning triangle underneath your name on the post and fill in the report box that will open.
 
Ah thanks.... Must be too long as the edit has gone.... I can find it on more recent posts so wasn't going bling it actually isn't there!!!
Now cant find TFC?
 
You can only edit for up to fifteen minutes, I think. Possibly to encourage users to think before they post?

TFC is a regular in forum queries/suggestions near the bottom of the different sections.

im sure im going to be shot down for being too harsh but cinnamon has hit the nail on the head.

if posters thought for just a second more before they write something on an internet forum about the behavior of someone they know in real life that that person could find, read and find offensive, untrue or libelous, half the car crash threads and massive rows we see online wouldnt happen and it does happen, all too often.

Remember, what you write here on here is public and comes up all too easily on google searches for years to haunt you!

im not preaching, i need reminding myself sometimes as well. :)
