As above, looking for a 4x4 but struggling to easily find the above weights as I'm looking at older vehicles.

Thanks in advance

Not that I’m aware of as every make and various models of car vary and can then vary depending on the year made/engine size etc. You’re best to find one you fancy and do a bit of research into it.

Agreed. We always find any cars for towing on Ebay. We currently have a Jeep which pulls too horses (full weight over 1000kg) plus trailer without any problem. We currently have a Jeep Grand Cherokke, bought for about £10,000 2nd hand off Ebay.

Are you looking to tow on a B licence ? - no B+E
I ask because those with B+E only need the towing capacity

Hi Rog yes I only have a B licence at the moment hence needing to know :)

You might be able to help - do trailers have Mam's - I assume they do? Would you k ow how to find these out too?

This was my fear 👎🏼

If you look at any you're interested in on Parkers website and go into vehicle info it will give you the weights. I've found manufacturers websites useless for anything other than current new vehicles.

Have a read of post number 3000 in the HHO TOWING CLINIC link in my signature below - I have email alerts for posts in that thread

Yes on the plate usually on the chassis under the front ramp or the coupling. If there’s not then the MAM is worked out by the combined maximum tyre load for each tyre.
