There is a central pole, then front half and back half of the partition to make it easier loading & unloading.
Check all the clasps on breast bars etc and also door mechanisms are smooth and easy to do, thats the only thing one mine that is not still perfect after 6 years - easily repairable though!

I have a 505 (almost same) check for the rubber stops on the bits the back doors open onto, lost mine and it makes a hell of a clatter without. Just put some hose pipe on to replace it but it's the little nigley things you need to look for! I aassume as you have asked what to look for you are going for second hand? Just check its been cleaned properly where the ramp meets the floor, if that makes sence, theres just a bit of a muck collecting area! + check the brakes aren't stuck on, mine was only 2 years old when i bought it and i can't leave it stood with the brake on as they stick on! Not really anything major to look for though, they are 5* trailers!

hi scoopy - I have one - a 2 year old. Check the electric pigtail, they do perish and then you have all sorts of weird and wonderful signalling issues. Before you go ask for the identification number of the trailer and ring Ifor to check it is not stolen! Sky will have so much room in there. Check what the central fixings on the partitions are - they changed about 8 years ago. If you let me know what they look like I will tell you where they are correct for alleged age.
Check all 5 tyres - they will perish in 4 years if the trailer is not used much - including the spare. And do stamp hard on the floor all over. It should be an aluminium floor but even they rot over rime depending on how it has been stored - be especially careful if they say they power wash it regularly as that is not recommended.
