is there any equine car boots/tack sales??

I went to a table top one at the weekend (it will remain unnamed) and I could not believe the total rubbish people were selling. There were frayed reins that should have been binned 10 years ago; I would have been ashamed to try to sell most of the stuff there. And the rest was overpriced- why would I buy a rug at a boot for £35 when I can get something similar new in the tack shop for £39?? Manky old bridles for £25 and second hand hats :-0 Sorry rant over. The Finmere one in Bucks is brilliant but I don't think there is another till May11.

Good lord, hope you weren't at ours in Edinburgh! :-O

I wandered round and found that there were some really good deals (my RI so excited cos she bought a Whitaker 5pt breastplate that was used 2x, £125 brand new, she got for £25). I got 2 really nice, perfect condition travelling rugs (one hand made and so immaculate and the type you just can't find in tack shops) for £25 for the pair...and a perfect condition excercise rug for a fiver....But some things were in deed overpriced too. But I have bridle that I paid £60 new, used a handful of times (maybe 10?) and asked £30 for it...and just not even glanced at.
 
i was hoping there would be one in the bucks/berks area, my stuff is all new with tags on it so it should sell, if anyone knows anything in that area this month please do let me know :D otherwise i may just have to travel a bit further out i heard there is one in oxon on sunday anyone know if its any good?
 
No it was not Edinburgh! Yours sounded excellent. Usually I do really well as I have 4 horses so always need something on offer. Hence the disappointment last weekend. Sorry I don't know any in Bucks/Berks coming up but usually you can google for them? You could also try H&H website classified or Preloved to sell your stuff free..
