Is there any hope for my clippers?

I got down to the yard this morning to find there had been a leak and my clippers have drowned. Is there any hope for them? I have had them years but looked after them so well they are like new, and I really can't afford any more. Very very sad

Bring them home and put them in the airing cupboard to dry slowly - then have them serviced immediately - should be OK as there will be oil and grease inside to protect and the electrics will dry out.

Oh and don't keep them up the stables from now on

Yep, agree that should work - take off any air vent covers, blades, as many removable bits as you can and keep them in the airing cupboard for at least a week. then down to clippersharp or your clipper servicer with a note explaining what happened. Don't attempt to plug them in at all.They should be fine when they are bone dry.

Might sound like an odd suggestion but it has worked with a number of phones that have encountered, errrrrrrrrrr, accidents. Stick them in a bowl of rice - apparently it draws the moisture out. Brought an iphone that had been dropped in a toilet (not by me!) back to life which was a minor miracle!
