I'm so sorry to read that he didn't make it. You did your very best and made the best decision for him. Cherish your memories and in time your pain will ease x

thank you for your messages' i believe we did the right thing and he had been through enough and brave to the end not a great start to the year . but thank you all very much he will be greatly missed and i wouldn't change a thing RIP fudge miss you always xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I had read this quickly before nipping out and came back on tonight really hoping to see a positive update. It sounds like you tried your hardest and did your best by him.
 
So sorry, but you made a brave and wise decision - he is no longer in pain. Keep your memories close, you will have them with you forever.

Oh I am so sorry. You did all you could, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. He's now free from pain and discomfort, and galloping around with all our other beloved friends. I'm really, really sorry. Big (((((((hugs))))))) for you. RIP Mr. Fudge, run free x
