Me and my friend either school or hack our tb's together early on a Saturday and tomorrow I am going to give schooling dizzy bareback a go :) anyway my friend's lovely mare has quite high withers and she just sent me text saying that a website has suggested that if you want to ride your high withered horse bareback a good idea might be to 'apply' some petroleum jelly prior to getting on  true or not haha it has made my slightly but not quite boring friday night a bit more entertaining!
On the downside when she does ride bareback I don't know that I will be able to look at her with laughing!!!

I can't answer your question, but I'm just reeling at the fact that you know a horse who can text!

I know she is so clever she also loves a bit of HHO! You will find her mostly over on stable yard starting threads on finding out how she can squeeze more hay out of her penniless mum!

A friend told me she was helping someone ride. The someone had applied Vaseline, which seeped onto the saddle. The friend had to clean the saddle. I nearly puked.
