Desperately trying to get out XC schooling on the off chance that Ascott won't be cancelled next weekend.
The big grey one hasn't had a run since beginning of May and this will be his first PN. Starting to get a bit desperate now!!!!

We went to Somerford Park yesterday, bit further but the going was fab apart from the water which is about up to your stirrups so a no go other than paddling!!!

They're doing it day by day but you can book in then they just ring if its cancelled.

I might give them a go. I would have thought Aston would have been a sure thing but no.....

Allow plenty of time then!! The worst days are sat ans Sun. Avoid the A43 off the M1 of M40 as its turned into a one way road...all 4 carriageways! Your best bet is M1 to J15 then A509 or is it 508..anyway, the road that goes to MK!! I think the A5 will also be hellish. Not wanting to put you off but just prepare yourself!!!

Cheers - I think I might do the mway as I agree the A5 might be a nightmare - especially around the A43 roundabout
