Ok, so my fab pony is up for sale at the mo, however the market is very stagnant and although I have dropped his price and had a little bit of interest I am a little reluctant to sell him for so little. What is the loaning market like? I would be more than happy to loan him out to a fab home but I am loathed to pay another 50 quid for advertising if it's not going to result in any interest!

There's always a Market for loaning, and a high demand for lwvtb, if so people will pay top dollar, even better if you are willing to take installments

Based in North Yorks, would ideally like him to stay within an hours radius but would be flexible if the home was amazing! Cool, well I think I shall go with a loan ad and see how we go :)

Why don't you advertise on preloved i think it's free, I think it's great as you just type in what your looking for and your area and bobs ur uncle! Perfect if you want your pony to stay local.

I managed to loan you know who out again, so I'm sure you'll have no problem as your little man looks like a cracker ;). Also if you found a family interested in doing some showing maybe a few wins here and there, or just general experience (Pony Club etc) may mean you can get a fair price when (if???!!) the market picks up again. If that lady thinks he's talented maybe she knows someone that wants a loanee or knows who to ask?

I just put up a poster in the local feed shop, but maybe something with a larger market will result in being able to choose a nice family? Also - have you tried the Pony Club website - I've heard many people get success through that.

ANYWAY - cannot wait to see you - has been far too long and the last weeks have been rubbish so I need perking up :)
