My first post in AAD!
So...I've just spent the past hour bathing and brushing out my Collie who has the most amazingly huge thick full skirt and tail!
I was thinking to myself that I wished I had bought the horses mane and tail conditioner back from the yard tonight to use on her, which got me thinking...is there a doggy version, or is there anything else that works well as a detangler?
Thankyou!

I was considering good old furniture polish...but settled for a bit of daughters "orange lolly flavoured no more tangles"...she smells lovely!

I use a Dezynadog shampoo (black magic) for my Flatcoats but I then use Pantene smooth and sleek conditioner. This combination makes the look and smell wonderful ready for a show. Instead of detangler try a little human conditioner mixed with water in a spray bottle, spary onto the knot then gently comb through, should work a treat.

Oh I like the human conditioner mixed with water spray idea...and a lot cheaper!
I also love the smell of the Aussie stuff - beats the 'wet dog' stench I'm surrounded by atm!
