Is there something wrong?

I have a 2 1/2 yr old yorkie x jack russell. last winter when the weather was bad she didn't really like going out so we ended up with a few accidents in the house.
She has started to do this again this year (wee only accidents) but it was noticed yesterday she went out and had a wee, then came back in and not long after weed again then about 1/2 hr went again. My mum also noticed she is drinking alot. she has also recently lost quite a bit of weight and her feed ect has not been changed.
She is booked in to see the vets but wondered if anyone had any idea what could be wrong, or am i worrying too much?

I would pop her to the vets. If she is drinking a lot, diabetes needs to be discounted.

Agree... possible diabetes explain the symptoms to the vet i'm sure they will run the correct tests etc.

Sounds like either diabetes or kidney problems.

would they want to keep her in for anything if its either of those?

It might just be cystitis and she may have lost weight if she has been uncomfortable and stressing. If it's that then antibiotics will sort her out. 2 1/2 is young for kidney problems, that's something you generally get with old dogs. Diabetes is possible. Hope it's something simple
