Havent come on here to slate anyone but I am NOT happy with current Farrier.

I am based in Biggin Hill so new farrier would need to be able to travel there.

They would need to be trained to shoe natural balance and be just as good with un-shod ponios as they are with shod. (current doesnt seem to have much interest, i can only assume its because he doesnt make much money out of me).

Ps. Farrier NEEDS to patient and kind my boy is fairly nervous xx

I cant rate my farrier enough, but unfortunately you are at least an hour from where he is based so probably too far!
I got to the yard last week, my farrier had got my horse in, trimmed her, and put her back out again.... And I was early! Now that is what you call value for money :p

There are some good ones around, but you are better off going for one's who you have heard good reviews from people about!

Ask the Farriers Registration Council to let you have list of all the farriers in Kent and then find out which of them are quiet, interested in their profession and reliable by asking people in your area.

I found a young farrier who was just setting up years ago and have stayed with him ever since (about 15 years now) because he is reliable, interested in his profession and quiet with the horses.
