I am having such a dilemma. After 7 months I love my mare in all ways except for the fact she is not the nice ploddy hack I wanted but it is her sharpness whcih makes her an angel to school and I really feel I am riding well and producing a nice horse when I get some good work out of her. I have her up for sale because I think that the grass is greener on the other side and that if I sold her I would find the perfect horse which is just like her i.e. great in traffic, never puts its ears back, doesnt have any medical issues or huge psychological issues or nastiness, is great on the ground but is just a bit sharp to hack out. I think I am being unrealistic and need a kick up the a*** and should appreciate that every horse has its quirks - whats your take on it? Do you have the perfect horse? Is there such a thing as the perfect horse?? I am not a novice horse owner but have had a 10 year break from them and I never used to stress like this - I just got on with it. Help - give me a sanity check!!!!
