Question in the title really!
I am looking for a book explaining handling, maybe backing and breaking etc but simple enough for a 10 year old to take in!

Well I had a Pony Club publication called 'Training the Young Horse or Pony' (it was the green one) and memorised every word.
Needless to say, they don't do that one any more. :( Ebay might be worth a look.

I just turned round to put my hand on my copy of "Training the Young Horse and Pony" but daughter must still have it. I thought it was right next to my 1971 edition of the Pony Club Manual of Horsemanship.

......I remembered I had already sold it last year and I thought it was right next to my 1971 edition of the Pony Club Manual of Horsemanship too! :o

Very good book too, just the right amount of information; my copy had almost fallen to pieces it was read so much (yep, I'm a slow learner! :o:rolleyes::D)
