Is this a bargain?

I've just bought a Bates close contact saddle, matching stirrup leathers, Stubben bridle and reins, leather tendon boots and leather fetlock boots. All used only 3 times when schooling..............£600

Wow yeah definately! I have been looking at second hand Bates saddles and can't get one for under £600 just for the saddle, you bargain hunter! where did you find all of that?

I saw it advertised in the Lincoln freeads, spoke to the lady today and as her husband is delivering a vehicle in Exeter tomorrow he's going to drop it off as well!!! I live 100 miles from Exeter by the way - I'm a happy bunny today.

Ive got a Henri De Rivel event saddle for sale with matching stirrup leathers, it came with pre-fabricated foam panels so I paid £250 for a whole new wool flocking underside put on it, also got the matching hand made english bridle and breastplate running martingale to go with it, all with brass fittings. I want £600 for the lot, cost me £950 for the lot

If you havnt even seen it and you dont know if the saddle fits then im not sure its that much of a bargain after all! A very big risk!

I'm paying when it's dropped off and I've used the same saddle on my mare so know that's what I want. I've had photos of every conceivable angle so know exactly what I'm getting. It's like buying from a mail order company only much cheaper.

but if it doesn't then you should be able to sell back on and hopefully get your money back if not more so yes i think bargain
