A friends of mine saw this first thing and it was already sold having been advertised last night, its 5mins from her current yard and she was unbelieveably disappointed as she was saying she would go there immediately with cash in poket and hack horse home. The horse looks gorgeous on you tube vids. I just think she was far too cheap or am i being silly in the current climate

i don't think weaving is a massive problem, the women told my friend the horse has been purchased without a viewing and she is dropping it off to new owners on thursday.i just wonder if its intermitantly lame or has been an insurance write off or something like that. im also trying to convince my friend she hasnt missed out at all as its probably got problems

Seems a bit too cheap even if it weaves though, unless the horse is very insecure of being on its own, thus weaves rather a lot, I had one like that, although he stopped doing it in the field but he was a terrible weaver/box walker if you left him on his own in the stable (ok if a person was in with him) which is why he lived out 24/7 but even if you left him in to tack up and niped to your tack room for a minute he'd go nuts

however he was a wonderful horse and you couldnt fault him any in other way, he was only cheap.

So it maybe that they have not been able to sell him at a cheap mid range price of I duno lets say £1500 to £2000 so dropped it hopeing they could get some more interest perhaps?

Maybe they just need a real quick sale and need the money?

Otherwise, seems a wee bit too cheap, but then you do find them and sometimes they are ok....worth a look all day long.

They obviously wanted a quick cash sale with no vetting. I don't think your friend has missed out on anything.

im glad im not the only one who thinks she hasnt missed out on anything!!! i'd get a failed race trained tb for that price and it wouldnt be a rushed, suspicious situation!

Ad doesn't mention hacking - maybe she doesn't hack? Also, they could be playing down the weaving - I had one which would weave so fast she'd fall over

Looks nice if there are no faults, but I wouldn't mind betting there's something wrong with her - be it temperament or physical.

Seems too cheap to me, I'd be betting it is a difficult or quirky ride under certain circumstances and they're hoping that at that price you won't try it too thoroughly.

"for sale due to rider injury" sound a bit suss what injury bar serious injury can you not recover from in 9 weeks. waiting list in place?? but she sold it unseen sound to good to be true if you ask me

I'm watching the vid of the trot and canter, I don't know if it's an illusion with the near hind just being lighter but she doesn't look 100% sound to me. I'd be suspicious of that cheap even in this climate

definately something going on there in my opinion. Weaving would not reduce the price so drastically. You have to ask about many issues the advert does not mention, eg hacking.
