Good doer ID X 9 years old. Weight: 640kg

Used only for hacking 2-3 times a week.

Ad lib haylage throughout the day. Takes approximately 3-4 haynets

Turnout approximately 2 hours every day. On dry days - 6 hours a day.

Current feed: 1 scoop Alfa- A original; 1.5 cup Baileys Lo-Cal, 1.5 scoop garlic powder, 3 tablespoons Cod Liver Oil.

Once a day

I am wondering whether this is perhaps too much for him?

Half considered, putting him on Safe and Sound. Plus VitM/in lick

How is he looking on this regime?

although I like horses to be eating constantly, working to the 2% of horses bodyweight rule for forrage supply is a good benchmark for feeding 'fatties' and I would split this over a few haynets supplied throughout the day in small holed nets if necessary.

He is holding his weight with this. Has perhaps dropped 10kg since April

He getrs one haynet in the morning then two in the afternoon with a top up of one just before yard closes.

All in small haynets.
