I'll go put rugs on her straight away. I've left her with norugs until now because its been mild
She does get adlib hay but I suspect the New Forest is throwing parties and other horses are eating it all.I recovered my composure but then was carried at speed bucking and farting out of the ring during the lap of honour.
Should have learnt my lesson, but then she asked me to hack out her just backed youngster - trot was a revelation - I have never actually been trotted off with before.

PMSL. I can totally picture you bucking round the arena and then bucking and farting making a quick exit
Yes, I took her to a yard and I have no idea how, but one minute I was sitting on her and the next, she bucked and I was sitting on the ground.Buck like a demon don't they!! Having been ditched quite spectacularly more than once by my friends HiPo - never again!
Bloody things head totally disappears between its knees and it does sodding handstands - stops for a second to evaluate whether you're still on board then goes again!
Mine misses out the handstands for the most part but will get up a good head of steam in trot or canter and then as she puts her head down, slams the breaks on. if you stay on, off she goes again.
No sure which is worse - to be fair they are built like sheds so it was like sitting on a bucking arm chair.
Think I was more peturbed when one moment I was hacking nicely along the road - the other I was on top of a 6ft hedge.
Again this is true - do not be fooled by these creatures
