Is this a scar or a marking?

When I bought Roo I just assumed this was an odd marking. But someone said to me that it was a scar, and that a previous owner obviously clamped her mouth shut (with a flash or something).

What do you think? If it is a scar, I hate to think what pain she must have been in to cause that

yeah, I tend to come on and post about everything thats worrying me, and then not say anything for a while.
I'm having a rough patch at the moment. Seem to be learning all my lessons the hard way, and all at the same time.
After tonight I think I will hide from the forum for a while, so you can all forget that I'm the bad owner for a while. Honestly, I don't neglect my horse

Why would we ever think that??
Dont you dare dissappear,we all have to learn and am sure we have all learnt the hard way at some point!

Well, we all make mistakes, but you have obviously realised there have been flaws in the care you have provided, you have asked for help, and you have learned as a result.

Don't beat yourself up over it. I bet not many people on here have never winced and realised they have messed up!

This is your first summer owning a horse, and it's a steep learning curve. The fat pony and the sores can be turned around. I bet you won't let it happen again, and I bet you'll see problems like those developing straight away in future.

Please don't hide from the Forum. You will learn so much on here.

Besides I'm sure we would all like to see progress pics with the weight loss and a nice healed up face on the other.

Take care!

Thanks guys, I've had a good cry now, and DarcyLu's comment made me smile. Nice to know I'm not the only one thats done the odd daft thing.

Oh , I could write a book on the stupid things I've done. Fortunatly not as stupid as that one - I'd have been swallowed up by the earth by now. But, I wont enlighten the world on my stupid ways any more
