Is this an ugly horse or not???

Would you buy a horse based PURELY on the advert?

I think she's lovely. I have an appaloosa, I love her to bits, but I call her attractive rather than beautiful. I'm well aware she's not every one's cup of tea though!

I think she's beautiful. If I was looking for another horse then I would certainly take a look, she looks kind.
I know someone who thinks appearance is everything & now has 2 TB's she can't ride but still thinks my (Gorgeous to me!) cob is common!
Who has the most fun I wonder?

i haven't put either - I wouldn't say 'cute' and spotties aren't really for me but, as far as spotties go she's quite attractive. She doesn't have the ugly, heavy type head that some do (and I like heavy , strong heads!)

Love her

i was all prepared to say ugly but actually she's sweet and would also look nice in bay/grey/orange etc.

call me a snob but i couldnt ever own an ugly horse (you know, where the head/body/legs all came from different horses), they have to be pretty so when they are acting the fool they at least look beautiful whilst doing so!

Not to my taste but she certainly isn't ugly! Handsome is as handsome does.... My goodness who are 'we' to label an animal as ugly though - that's very sad.

I know what you mean, I think her markings are pretty, perhaps not the prettiest of pictures!!!!

Although, what I think is nice, somone else will think awful, and thankgoodness for that, al we would all be after the same thing

It's impossabe to tell really, not a great sales photo.A good headshot and nice side on one are much better.
But I think you asked because of her colour?

Not my thing being a bay girl who goes weak at the knees for a nice paly

I think they look lovely with a few spots on bum but (and sorry to spotty fans here

) I just dont find full body spots to my taste...having said that,if she ticked all the other boxes coour would not put me off her.

Neither in my opinion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that though. Unfortunately that is a dreadful photograph and on first glance it does her back end no favours whatsoever.

Photos are such deceiving things and I dont think it is particularly nice to comment on open forums about horses for sale. How would you feel if you saw your own horse for sale being slated?

To link a horse for sale on here I think is in bad taste.

I like the look of her, other than her feet. For me I always try to picture the horse as a more usual/solid colour too to help make sure I'm not just swayed by colour. Mind you I love all horses, don't think I've seen an ugly horse in my life.

Certainly not ugly but does not have the best hind leg.

A good looking, well put together horse is a good looking, well put together horse whatever its colour.

ooh i am very biased as i have a leopard spotted chap but i rather think she looks lovely! i know not everyone is a fan of spottys and i couldnt have cared one way or another about them till i got V an now i really have a thing for them, however i would not ever call any horse ugly there is something about every one of them x
