I think it is may be because it is Cottage Craft. Its the likes of Mattes, Bartyl etc that are pricey

Hi, I've seen one of these in a local tack store, they look lovely just wish I had a reason to buy one

The quality of them is fine and the wool is lovely and soft, can't say how they stand up to wear though, but still they look good.

I have a Shires half pad, and I love it! It is so easy to clean after a muddy day of hunting, and I have had it for a while now and it still looks great!

Can I ask a question - not meant to antaginise just because I'm genuinely interested!

If your saddle fits, why put a saddle pad with it? Surely if it fits you just use a saddle pad?

i brought my cottage craft one from equestrian clearance and im really pleased with it, like you said its cheap and it washes well too

I have one as mine is a single panel saddle, and I prefer it to my Rambo Pad which slips. Don't normally use it with another numnah.
