I personally think that what my husband has suggested is cheeky - what do you think? The story is that my horse went lame and we thought it would need a couple of years off. So, I sold my dressage saddle to help pay for the stud fees - or so I thought.....we have been to the vets several times and my girlies now just about sound and should come totally sound. Obviously, am now kicking myself for selling dressage saddle. However, I met the girl I sold it to at the vets last week and her boy has done a hind suspensory and will be off for ages. Do you think it's cheeky to ask her if she would sell the saddle back to me?? I don't want to look as though I'm taking advantage of a bad situation but at the same time would quite like saddle back........Dilemma!!!

IMO i would wait a bit longer and she will prob realise and offer the saddle back to you! is a tricky situation tho,

I would not be offended if you asked me, and I would not consider it to be cheeky. Also her horse will be off work for sometime and incurring vets bills, maybe she would appreciate the extra beer tokens...

Nothing ventured nothing gained, just ask, I would if in your position and I am a very polite young lady... I think
