But if he's a dealer and he wants to buy your horse, the money is the same whether he's an event rider or not!!

I'm not bothered about that i'm just trying to work out how someone who's 21 can afford that kind of yard and why does the site say it's in kent and then it says it's in sheffield. I just wondered if it's someone just wasting my time. also why have some of the pics got copy right on them??????????

The strangest thing is that some of those photos show themselves to have been updated only 4 hours ago, and then you posted about the site.

That is either a spooky coincidence or a slightly clever variation on the site placement posts we have been seeing more of here just recently.

I can vouch for Cowboy (she is one of my closest friends in real life) that this guy has contacted her regarding the sale of her horse.

We're both as baffled as each other and I suggested she post on here after she googled and searched his name against BE records and came up with nothing.

Maybe it's all perfectly innocent - but SOMETHING is giving me a bad feelign about it all and amworried that she is now going to meet this "person" when he comes to view her horse.

Some of the texts that have been sent have been very odd too.......

i would be very wary in that case, judging from your previous posts you weren't exactly asking 'dealer' money so my feeling is that this person will pitch up with a trailer, offer 1/2 the money as deposit and want to take neddie away on a trial, and then disappear......

Well whether the guy is genuine or not I have never seen such atrocious spelling and grammar etc and my BF is severely dyslexic!! I'd imagine that a website advertising a seemingly new business would be designed and checked with a fine toothed comb to present the right image - which doesn't seem to be the case here . . . . . Although I could be wrong - wouldn't be the first time!!

That is just how it comes across, but most children's spelling and grammar would be better than that! Very strange, no address etc. Dodgy.

"we had a few styables" is that even a word? the spelling is crap! and the pictures dont seem all that genuine. On one of the horse selling websites (cant remember which one) it warned that alot of scams for some reason have really bad spelling, and even if it is genuine its not very professional.

I looks like some immature kid set it up TBH.

oh and when you click on the individual pics of the person riding the comments they've given them are soooo stupid.

One was like "dont i look good jumping"
and another along the lines of "we walked around this course"

Sorry but if thats a professional yard then i'm going to set one up too!! Any takers? lol

I don't believe it AT ALL and this is why
- They have a picture of a horse jumping at 'home' because of a canceled show, but in the picture you can tell that it is not their outdoor arena.
- Another picture has been taken from the horses.co.uk
- Another picture of a horse is taken in front of the stables which look nothing like the stables on their background.
- VERY bad spelling
- Not very professional (ie picture in the gallery from a 'boring show') and having music on the main page!
- Bad rates
- Says the stables were in Sheffield and he was left running them where they were later redone yet on the main page saying they are based in Kent.
- Cannot find anything of their 'Apollo Eventing Team'
- Boss says he has never evented.

I personally would not sell a horse to someone who lies so much.
I do not trust them at all.
