Is this hairy hairy enough to show???

So do I... but I couldn't get on with the name Ace... ho hum... may go and see him at the weekend.

It will come down to personal preferance tbh...some will tolerate that feather [CHAPS judges etc], true 'gypsy' preferential ones however will want true full feather. Ie, In front coming from the knee, not just feathering down the back.

To my eye, and in my opinion, he looks more of a coloured native than a traditional. The feather does start from the back of the knee, but not so much 'spat' as a true traditional cob. He looks like my Star who is a DalesX.
Really though, it doesn't make much difference, because they are usually in the same classes.

He's very nice - I'd have a look if I were shopping :D

It's finding one... :( I'd like something more like this but they don't think they want to sell him

(And if they did I probably couldn't afford him...)

Dragon driving usually have a fair few proper hairies on :)

Sadly, they do have enormous price tags most the time also but you can find a few good catches if you look hard :)

I'll still keep an eye out :D

Yeah and I want a 3 year old... or older as I have nothing to ride atm...:(

I've had everyone's cast offs for the last 15 years (including my dressage horse - he was a freebie) this time I'm having what I want... but I get the feeling it might just cost me... and there I was 6 months ago thinking a hairy would be cheap... Nope If I like it... it'll be expensive...

My boy is pretty good in the hair department and he wasn't cheap, he'd be even more if I bought him now though!

(I got him at 18 months, he's now just about to turn 3 :) )
