Is this horse a Thoroughbred or crossed with something else???

I would say TB too. Get the vet to do a microchip scan and ask Wetherby's if it matches any horse they have on record. Even if they never raced most TB's are registered with Wetherbys anywho.

My goodness he bares a resemblance to my horse!

Even down to the stripe!

Incidentally my horse is 3/4 TB, and looks a little chunkier than the horse is your photos so I'd punt a guess at him being full TB.

My horse is a Sport Horse GB, everyone says 'oh typical TB' and he does look like a TB but he is definatley crossed with ID.... I dont know where but its somewhere lol. Mum is ID x TB and Dad is TB

He looks it though some warmbloods have so much tb in them (over 80%) , they look pretty tb.

I have the opposite problem, a tb that everyone says "are you sure?" when they see him. With 9 inches of bone and a mane and tail like a shetland I can see their point but he is, all the way back. He's french though and wouldn't come up on a Wetherbys search.

Looks every inch (that we can see) a TB to me and a lovely looking one at that :)

The likeness with Elvis' horse is astonishing. You two should do pairs hunter trials together ;)

It's incredible isn't it, I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't him! If he's also 16.3hh they must be twins separated at birth!

It's hard to say for definite. His head could definitely pass for Thoroughbred but you have to see the whole body to say for certain. I love a pretty TB face, so all three of my horses have had one: the TB, the KWPN (who came out as about 75% Thoroughbred) and my Connie x TB. Looking purely at their heads, all three could pass as full TBs, but it was their overall build that was the real giveaway with the two boys. Even then, both can pass as good, substantial TBs to the uneducated eye.

My old TB looked nothing like a TB but more a warm blood, even my vet was shocked but he was a full TB by Kadastrof, def not made for national hunt racing though, he was so slow he made a snail look like a sprinter!
