Is this horse just bloody good bargain, opinions please

depends how old he is first i think. i'd have a v good feel around his legs. he may well have nothing wrong with him, lots of reasons why horses get chucked out for a while...
hope she finds a lovely home for him.

Nah it's just he is a 14yr old horse thats done nothing for a while! He is also being ridden in a hackamore in the pics for some reason, so may not be that straight forward!!

Could be genuine but you never know just from an advert. The only thing I would say is that they are advertising as a dressage horse but it is ridden in a hackamore?
The only way to find out is to ring and then view!

The problem I think nowadays is that there are so many dishonest sellers that we think they are all dishonest when in fact there are some decent people about!

Depends what you want him for tbh. I think he's priced about right for a horse which has fairly poor dressage, has virtually never jumped clear SJ BE & doesn't look like it much likes XC either.
You wouldn't buy him to progress him really, but as a RC type he might be a real bargain.

I agree. His XC record is pretty poor and he hasn't done anything for 2 years (and only one the year before). For a 14yo that has been out and done a bit it's a fair price but I wouldn't expect anything very special :(

Thanks everyone. I have a friend who is looking for something to compete showjumping and occassionally eventing up to about 3ft, so mid-high RC level and has asked what I think of him. She is relatively confident but not the best rider should he need a lot of education. The seller is offering 6 month loan prior to buying.

Thanks for all the advice
