Does your horse wee more when it goes out onto summer grazing?
He has been out over a week now and yesterday weed 3 times on a 2 hour hack and again in the stable. Today just once. I am wondering if it because we have had fresh rain on the grass or should I be worrying?

Yes, mine does. I guess it is because of the higher moisture content of te lovley new spring grass. Do not worry unless you see him drinking over much

If he has access to more grass he will be having a higher water content in his diet compared with being on hay and short winter grass. More water = more wee

My horse is as if someone left the tap on at the moment, she's a mare but she's not in season. I went on a fun ride yesturday and i've not stopped for wee stops so much in all my life!

I have to say speaking of weeing my boy pretends to be getting ready to go for a wee when out on hacks but instead he puts his head down and trys to stuff his face!! Naughty Coblet!!

He tries this about at least 5 times every hack! I have to admit it is quite a clever trick but annoying at times!!

Just to add he has had his bladder etc checked and he is fine.

yes when the grass is wet my stable is soaked when the grass is dry my stable is a lot drier!
