He sticks it out turns it upside down and sucks it, usually after you give him a mint but he's recently just randomly doing it, sometimes he will stand there and blank the world out and do it.
What is he doing/trying to do, is it a habit and is it bad? Thanks

I used to look after a race horse that did it, everyone thought is was quite cute, it's as though there trying to get every bit of taste of the last thing they have eaten lol lol

my welsh cob does this.Everyone gives him a mint just to see him do it.

My horse does this but once he has his tongue bent over he uses it to pull his bottom lip in his mouth too so he looks like he is sucking his lips. He does it every day when hes turned out before he goes off to graze!
