Have been trying to load my 2 year old for ages now ever since YO frightened him. First time he kept going on and sticking head in and standing on ramp but didn't actually get in trailer. This time he went on the ramp quicker and actually got back legs on ramp too but still didn't get in it as the longer you keep doing it with him he just loses interest and won't move or anything.
Is this progress as i am worrying that each time he is just getting away with not going in the trailer and now don't know whether to just get someone out to help me before it gets to be too late as really want to take him to a show at end of the month!?

I would recommend somebody from the Monty Roberts site. I had an RA to help with Daisy's leading problems when i first got her and she was really good.

i have found someone near me who is cheap but i don't know what methods they use or pay top whack and declare myself bankrupt by paying £40 per hour or £200 a week and have someone i know and trust work on him? what would you do

You could ask for references from the person who is cheap and check them out carefully. I think just because someone is cheap it doesn't make them bad and if they are expensive it doesn't make them good, or of course vice versa!

Hope you get it sorted.
