Is this sort of arrangement a possibility? [renting field/sharing]

Hello! I'm in a bit of a dilemma because I need to make a decision on where to live, but it is very dependent on whether this would be possible or not.

I'm moving to Surrey soon to start new job in Guildford and have a choice of either living in the town centre or this beautiful mini barn conversion on a farm 25 minutes drive away. I cannot afford to get my own horse at the moment but am keen to find one to share. The farmer could rent me grazing (currently empty) at £10pw per horse. There is a slightly tumbledown shed for shelter and tying up, and wonderful hacking (I'm told), and they make hay on the farm which I would be able to buy.

Basically, having a horse to come home to would make living in the sticks worthwhile, but as I said I can't afford my own and it would need a fieldmate anyway, so do you think there is anyone who would want to rent it for their horses sharing the riding and care with me??

Plz let me know cos I really need to decide but speculation is getting me nowhere!

A bit South of Godalming, near Milford. It's near a bridge were you can go over the A3 to a huge common which is apparently brilliant for hacking.

Basically I'm putting up my mare for loan and my sharer has bonded to her but can't afford my livery price so this could be an option and u can share on some days as basically she is only 14/15 (can never remember which)

I think someone would definitely be up for that! I am having a similar dilemma as have found a bargain field minutes away from my house but current lady is selling her horse and don't want to keep one on their own! I did think if I had a bit more money when I am out of studentdome I could get some sort of hardy pony and have a sharer for it so it gets ridden, and I would love a pet pony!! I couldn't ride it myself or it'd get squished haha.
