been on the look out for a first pony for my 4 yo daughter, seen one which i think is perfect, its just what i wanted and in my area too.

Googled the phone number and realised the same pony is on horsequest £350 cheaper, obivously they have reduced it so they can sell it quickly. The only problem is i cant have a pony until we move into our new house, we have a date to complete which is 1st of july, although i get the feeling it may get postponed (sellers are being a nightmare.)

Would it be wrong to go and look at this pony even though i'm not in a position to buy at the moment? Dont want to waste the poor womans time? Would she understand if i phoned and told her the position i was in? Just seems the perfect pony for us.

Suppose you could ring the advert and explain your situation to them.
If there not in a hurry to sell and you went to view it you liked it and they liked you they might hang on.
Give it a ring though, nothing to loose :-)

Ring and talk to her. Be completely honest and explain the situation, then if she is happy go and look. It might NOT be the one, but it would be a shame to miss it if it is and the seller is prepared to wait.
I usually have youngsters for sale, and if what I considered to be the right buyer (lovely knowledgable caring home) came along with your problem, I would be happy to wait providing I either had a decent deposit or paid in full.
Give them a ring or you might end up kicking yourself.
Good luck.

I would also ring and explain the situation if the pony is perfect for you and your daughter. If its a perfect situation for all partys they might hold on to the pony for you untill you are ready to take it. If the pony is close enough you may even be able to have the pony on a trial period staying where it is atm to see if its perfect

Definitely ring and explain your situation.

I sold one a couple of years back, the buyers were going away and asked if I would be willing to keep tthe horse for an extra month. They paid me in full and ownership was transferred to them immediately, I essentially just gave them a months free livery as part of the deal.
